DATES AND DEADLINES
The first's IFIF'09 - Idanha Film and Internet Festival - runs in Idanha-a-Nova from 14th to 16th September 2009.
All environmental films must be completed after 1 January 2007. The submission deadline is 26 July 2009.
OUR MISSION
Our primary purpose is to promote the environmental media - in particular the audio-visual media –in order to raise consciousness about environmental issues, and educate people through films and videos. Inspire people to get involved in societal change.

Registration is free.

Completed entry form signed by the copyright owner.

\ Preview format:
DVD (PAL Region 2 or No Region) / Films in a language other than English must be subtitled in English, clearly labelled with film title, year of production, length , with your name, address and telephone number.

\ Promotional material:
posters / promo cards / press book, if available.

By email or cd-rom.

Dialogue list in English.
SUBMITTED MATERIALS WILL NOT BE RETURNED
IFIF'09 Festival will not accept any charges of your shipments- Film Entrants ship all material at their expense to the IFIF Festival.

Whenever sending films/video from outside the EU, please enclose a customs declaration and clearly indicate on the outside of the packaging: “Film/video on loan for festival purposes only. No commercial value.”

With your consent, all DVD submissions are automatically added to our
GREEN TUBE archive, a free virtual library for movies, documentaries and animations. The IFIF film festival international environmental film database.
FILM SELECTION
Films will be selected by the Festival Executive Board for entry and positioned into the appropriate competitive category.

All filmmakers will be notified of their acceptance by 15th August 2009.

Exhibition formats are: DVD PAL.

Acknowledge that the selected films may be used as promotional material for the IFIF Festival (max. 3 minutes or 10% of footage of short films) to be broadcasted on TV with no commercial value.
CORDIAL RECEPTION
The IFIF Festival appreciates you taking part and welcomes all filmmakers and other guests (journalists, professionals, film festival representatives).
TRANSLATIONS
IFIF Festival written documents will be published in English and Portuguese.
AGREEMENT
Submission of the official Entry Form to the IFIF Festival indicates that the entrant understands and agrees to the terms and conditions of Entry.

The IFIF 09 Executive Board reserves the right to decide on matters not specified in the Terms of Entry.
